WOMEN PHYSICIANS COLLECTIVE
Here are the learning objectives for our signature series, which is approved for 12 AMA PRA Category 1 credits™.
Analyze the latest clinical research on common conditions (e.g., cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders) that present differently in female patients to identify key diagnostic and treatment distinctions.
Implement sex-specific screening tools and best practice guidelines to improve the timely diagnosis and management of diseases that disproportionately affect women.
Examine implicit biases that may impact the care provided to female patients, and formulate strategies to mitigate these biases and deliver more equitable care.
Utilize personal wellness action plans that incorporate strategies for self-advocacy and address common stressors for women physicians, such as managing gender bias in the workplace and balancing professional demands with personal life.

I'm JMac.
I'm a pediatric hospitalist and the founder of Women Physicians Collective.
I started WPC because I've been alone in that call room, wondering who I was outside of being a doctor.
I write about the things nobody said out loud in medical school — identity, burnout, the weight women physicians carry, and what it actually takes to feel like yourself again inside this career.
This isn't a wellness blog.
It's a colleague who gets it, writing openly about the hard parts.
